Think of Darius, he was not an assasin of the Brotherhood (he was an assassin with similar ideas but not of The Creed as Aya and Bayek had not yet created the firm soil that others could build on) but he still wielded the hidden blade and this would lead to it being the standard weapon if the Assassins. But that's just my opinion.
When Bayek obtains the hidden blade at the end of the Aya main quest he has all of his fingers. There is a cutscene whereby Bayek is testing out the blade. Aya opens Bayek's hand to prevent self-injury when using the blade. Bayek loses his finger during End of the Snake. It is the main quest after Aya. You will see a cutscene when assassinating
Suggested Level: 30 Normal, 35 Elite The Slaver I. Throughout this event, Bayek will be armed with a heavy blade and a shield with a large number of spinning spike traps, both stationary and mobile.
5 Darius And The Hidden Blade. In the DLC continuation, Kassandra meets Darius, whom the authorities of Macedonia try to kill. Yes he is. 1.Yes. 2.Not just ceremonial, Bayek and Altair's blade pass trough the ring finger because hat is how it was built (the concept art for Origins shows that the hidden blade was used above the arm, not under it). Altair changed the design later on when he was a Mentor.
When Bayek and Aya speak for the last time, Bayek throws away the Medjay badge telling that he's not a father, husband or a Medjay anymore, but a hidden one. It just seems kinda weird that he keeps saying that he's a Medjay whenever asked who he is/why is he interfaring in others' matters in sidequests after beating the game.
12- Tuta leads Bayek to Blue Eyes and arranges a meet. However he betrays them both into a trap. 13- Bayek survives an ambush by Tuta and his father, but Blue Eyes does not. Before he dies, he tells Bayek the same message he had given Sabu. 14- Bayek tracks Tuta and his father to their home where the father is recovering from his wounds.
